TotalEnergies, a Global Integrated Energy Company
We produce and market energies: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables and electricity. Our purpose is to provide as many people as possible with energy that is more affordable, more reliable and more sustainable.
Our key figures

Our integrated business model
To meet growing global energy demand while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we are developing an integrated and balanced multi-energy transition strategy based on two focus areas, namely hydrocarbons and electricity (Integrated Power).
We are active throughout the energy value chain, from production through to transportation and transformation into intermediate and finished products, including storage and distribution of those products to meet the needs of our business customers and consumers.
Our ambition: be a world-class player in leading the energy transition and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050
Our integrated multi-energy strategy is built on two pillars: Oil & Gas – in particular liquefied natural gas (LNG) – and Electricity (Integrated Power), the energy at the heart of the transition.

Streghtening our presence in renewable energies
With 100 years of energy experience, we are active in all high-growth segments, responding to growing demand. At the end of Q2 2024, TotalEnergies’ gross renewable electricity generation installed capacity was 24 GW. TotalEnergies will continue to expand this business to reach 35 GW in 2025 and more than 100 TWh of net electricity production by 2030 with the objective of being among the world's top 5 producers of electricity from wind and solar energies.

Our ambition in renewable energies
Electricity demand is set to rise faster than global demand for energy as a whole in the coming years. According to the International Energy Agency’s Sustainable Development Scenario, renewable energies will represent more than 35% of the world’s energy mix in 2040. To support this growth, our ambition is to achieve 100 gigawatts of gross installed renewable power generation capacity by 2030, through the development of our solar and wind energy businesses around the world.
